About Zoe's Home Rescue
Welcome to Zoe's Home Rescue – a sanctuary where hope and care combine to create new beginnings for Romania's most vulnerable four-legged friends.
If you're reading this, chances are you're a kindred spirit who shares our passion for animal welfare. Or perhaps you're contemplating adoption and want to ensure that you're making the right choice. Either way, you're in the right place.

First things first: let's talk about our roots. Zoe's Home Rescue isn't just another animal shelter; it's a labor of love born from a deep desire to make a difference. At the heart of our rescue is Monika, a woman whose compassion for animals knows no bounds. Her journey began with a simple, powerful realisation: countless dogs and cats in Romania were suffering – abandoned, neglected, and without a voice. Determined to change their fate, Monika took action, supported by a team of volunteers in the UK.

So, what exactly do we do? In essence, we're a bridge between despair and hope. We rescue dogs and cats who have been abandoned or born on the streets – animals who have never known a gentle touch or a warm bed. We provide them with the medical care they need, nourish them back to health, and give them the love they've been missing. But our work doesn't stop there. We believe that every animal deserves a forever home – a place where they're not just safe, but cherished. And that's where you come in.

Adopting from Zoe's Home Rescue is more than just adding a pet to your family; it's about giving a second chance to an animal who has faced the toughest of times. Our adoption process is thorough but straightforward. We start with a health check, ensuring every animal is vaccinated, neutered, and in tip-top shape. Then, we work closely with you to find the perfect match. Our adoption fees – £465 for dogs and £300 for cats – cover all medical treatments, neutering, worming, and transport costs. It's a small price to pay for a lifetime of unconditional love.

But we don't just hand over our animals to anyone. We conduct home checks to ensure that our rescues are going to safe, loving environments. This is a crucial step in our process – one that helps us sleep at night, knowing our furry friends are in good hands.

Now, let's address the elephant in the room: legitimacy. In today's world, it's only natural to be cautious. There are too many stories of rescues that aren't what they seem. But here's the thing – at Zoe's Home Rescue, transparency is our policy.
Our website and social media channels are open books, filled with stories, photos, and videos of our rescue operations and the animals in our care. We're registered with Companies House (15337021) and we can put you in touch with hundreds of happy adopters.

Finally, let's talk about the bigger picture. Animal rescue is not just about saving one dog or cat; it's about making a statement against neglect and cruelty. By adopting from Zoe's Home Rescue, you're taking a stand. You're saying that every animal deserves love and respect. You're becoming part of a community that believes in second chances and happy endings.
You see, Zoe's Home Rescue is more than just an animal shelter. It's a movement – one driven by love, commitment, and the belief that together, we can make a difference.
Whether you're here to adopt, donate, or simply learn more, your interest means the world to us – and to the animals whose lives you're helping to transform.
Welcome to our family. Welcome to Zoe's Home Rescue.
Meet Monika
Monika runs the Zoe's Home Rescue in Romania. She is passionate about providing the very best care for the puppies, kittens, cats and dogs that she rescues.

Running a rescue in Romania is tough work, filled with both tragedy and success, but for Monika, the wag of a puppy's tail or the purr of a kitten who has just had it's first full meal after only knowing hunger and pain makes it all worth while.
