“You looking at me?! No wonder I’m the most gorgeous boy ever! 😍”
Star’s Ideal Home
Star is looking for a loving family who can provide:
🏡 A secure, private garden: Star will need a safe, private space where he can play and explore.
👶 Children aged 12+: Star is great with children, but he’s best suited to families with older children who can respect his space.
🐱 Cat-friendly: Star is friendly with cats and would be happy to share his home with feline companions.
🐶 Dog-friendly: He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy the company of a canine friend.
💖 Affectionate & Playful: Star is an affectionate, playful boy who loves attention and enjoys spending time with people.
🧠 Basic training: Star will need continued training to help him adjust to his new home. Positive reinforcement will work best.
🌟 An active family: Star has lots of energy and would do best with a family that enjoys outdoor activities and playtime.
What Star Needs to Thrive
Training: Star will benefit from basic training to help him settle in. He’s confident and smart, so he’ll do well with positive reinforcement methods.
Mental stimulation: As an intelligent dog, Star will thrive on puzzle toys, interactive games, and activities that engage his mind.
Time, patience, and love: As with all rescue dogs, Star will need time to adjust and build a bond with his new family.
Star’s Backstory
Star is one of the 7 puppies from Winnie’s litter (Winnie is the mother with the injured leg needing amputation). Star was born on the streets and was at risk from traffic and other dangers, but thankfully he was rescued. He has no behavioral issues, but any dog may need time to adjust to a new environment. Our rescue is happy to provide support if any issues arise.
Ready to Welcome Star Into Your Family?
Star is neutered, blood-tested for Brucella Canis, vaccinated (including rabies), microchipped, and will travel with his health book and pet passport. Transport is provided door-to-door.
