Boomer born 21/04/2023 is a beautiful medium sized dog weighing 25kg and 80cm height up to the shoulder. He is a mixed breed and travelled to the UK in September 2023. He is being rehomed due to a change in circumstances and is being left alone in the home far too long.
Boomer is a lovely playful gentle boy. He can get giddy around other dogs but this could be managed well if needed. He can also be excitable when he meets another dog on his lead. He's energetic and loves to go for his walks. He is both good and toy oriented which is useful to help his future training requirements.
Boomer enjoys human company as well as being a big softie and loves a cuddle and attention. Boomer can be a little nervous of people he doesnāt know but does tend to warm up after a few minutes and then will want all the strokes from them.
Boomer has had limited training and is currently kept on the lead. However in a secure field when his recall has been tested he has been happy to come back despite distractions.
Boomer is a blank canvas for someone who is prepared to work with him and spend time building a good relationship using a positive reinforcement training approach. Boomer would excel at a range of activities which would developed his mental stimulation such as tracking, trailing and scentwork.
We are looking for a home for him where his humans have the time and inclination to support him so this young dog can have a fulfilled and varied life.
Boomer is fully vaccinated, chipped, passported, neutered and up to date with his parasite control. He has no known health issues.
Boomer is based near Taunton. Prospective adopters would be able to meet him on a video call prior to visiting. His adoption fee is Ā£190.
